Observia

Observia is an enclaved independent republic based within the offices of The University Observer newspaper in the Student Centre building at University College Dublin, itself based in the Republic of Ireland.

Some facts about Observia
The national colours of Observia are purple with orange trim. Observia has yet to settle on a national flag.

The national animal is the Badger.

The national industry is snark.

The currency is the Box (signified ☐, in honour of the aforementioned newspaper’s ability to use the € symbol in headlines). The Box shall be pegged to the euro and the euro currency shall be considered de facto legal tender within Observia as a result.

The national food is Doritos, though the culinary contributions of Bombay Pantry are acknowledged by the state.

The national anthem is ‘Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)’. a modified version of ‘Disturbia‘.

The national flower shall be the Daffodil.

The national pastimes shall be Chatroulette, Glee!, fantasy sports, and Bridget.
